Dogon Door Lock 02
Description
Dogon Door Lock 02This old object was sourced at an auction of rare collectors items being sold by private sellers. It is an old door lock hand carved from wood by the Dogon people of Mali. It was used for years as a lock on houses and granaries. The carvings and style of these locks range abstract and symbolic in representation of their ancestors.
