Description

Georges Noellat Vosne Romanee 2022

and that unmistakable Loire undercurrent of damp earth and tobacco leaf

From a humble crush of maybe 50 cases to start

based in Nashville

almost mineral in their definition

The palate is juicy and elastic

and sweet pipe tobacco

For collectors

old-vine Régnié that leans into structure and soil over overt charm

quickly deepening into apricot skin and white peach

but the methods he employed were strikingly similar to those used for Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino today

" - The Wine Independent

It was with great interest that I tasted with Stephane Magnien at his winery in January
