SphaleriteThis beautiful Sphalerite has a medium yellow hue with golden orange highlights, and when you view it under halogen lighting or in sunlight, you can see the bright shimmering splitting of white light into its constituent colors in prisms and rainbows inside the stone due to the good cutting along with the excellent dispersion of the material. The stone is only very very slightly included, which is important for Sphalerite as not only is it a
layered blades of Ferberite on the side
the inclusions are a brownish color and not BRIGHT like the inclusions in this stone
When the crystal is backlit
stepped octahedral faces and wonderful overall form
and definitely one of the better pieces I've seen in terms of sharpness and fine crystallization
A good big blocky light blue-green colored Amazonite crystal with minor Smoky Quartz on the underside
I love the fact that the outer rind on the front is complete all the way around
It is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain superb quality Tourmalines from Paprok for decent prices
No damage on either side
It's a very attractive stone
