15" x 123" Blue Linen Table Runner with Wax and Ink PrintThis rescued linen was first hand dyed with fiber reactive dyes. Fixed and washed. Then the piece was hand stitched with thread and pulled tightly. Then wax was hand painted on the fabric. Then the piece was hand dyed with natural indigo. Then special wash for wax removal and a thorough washing and fix bath. Finally it was blockprinted by with hand carved stamp blocks of flowers and tiny flowers, all original artwork. 15" x 123" Ink is heat set

The cold and slow melting time give these pieces a truly one of a kind feel
