Spurs, pair with large prick ends - SP09These spurs are from the 9th C. The originals are in the Strong Collection, which we were able to take a mold from to produce these spurs! Spurs in the SCA are a symbol for a Knight, a Squire or equestrian.
It features enamel simulating fine gemstones as well as faux pearls
Based on a star
The buckle is reproduced from a find from the 1964 Cathedral Green excavation in Winchester

The set includes both the buckle and belt end
the original is in a museum in Moscow
This belt buckle has 9th Century Norse Viking Borre Style embellishments
and the mother of Chiperic I and in the grave wore the belt set probably on a baldric
