Hand painted elements by the Vista Alegre Manufactory, the depiction of Our Lady with the Infant Jesus is enriched by gold details and by the raised blue ornamentation of the border an intricate design inspired by the 18th century *azulejos* found in the Chapel of Our Lady of Penha de Frana in lhavo.
