The symmetrical ‘V’ shaped legs are connected together with a single crosspiece at the bottom

in this version the armrest cushions extend along the entire length unlike the “Committee Chair” that has partly exposed armrests

Mainly seen in private homes in Chandigarh circa 1961-62

This chair is reminiscent of Pierre Jeanneret’s designs for university housing and administrative buildings in Chandigarh
