Nepenthes sanguinea
Description
Nepenthes sanguineaNepenthes sanguinea is native to peninsular Malaysia where it grows at highland and intermediate elevations. Weve found it to be one of the hardiest Nepenthes weve ever grown and it grows rapidly in our lowland, intermediate and highland greenhouses. It produces large traps that attain and impressive size and have a beautiful contrast between the interior of the pitcher and the rest of its body. BE 4066 are plants grown from cuttings with the parent
A cross between an excellent "old school" maxima and our incredible Nepenthes [(lowii x veitchii) x boschiana] "white"
Nepenthes muluensis x lowii
We’ve found it to be tolerant of a range of temperatures and have even kept them in lowland conditions with some success
The ribbed peristome is thick and woody in texture and it's got great striping with a darkening on the inside of the pitcher as it ages
These are seed grown plants from Christian Klein and are exhibiting extremely dark purple coloration
The newest leaves are a dark iridescent green color and appear blue from different angles
