I guess this photograph shows really well what surfing North Sea waves means

This is an area where forest comes together with sandy dunes

where the viewer has to look twice

When the sun sets these beautiful abstract seascapes can be created

Quiet moments like this keep drawing me back to the sea

If there is no longer enough light for regular photography

The fog was so thick that I had to use the white water of the broken wave to get some contrast in the photo

The Scheveningen Lighthouse

all in a rich turquoise color

But beautiful at the same time
