The piece was certainly difficult to photograph
and I encourage collectors to not overlook this piece as it’s one of the most interesting and important single Wavellites that I’ve seen from Bolivia
A very attractive “locality” specimen
it was completely filthy
but please be aware that it does have nicks and broken edges
Baddeley found an unusual mineral and sent samples back to London for analysis
the locality had not produced specimens in MANY years
although this piece is not of the same caliber
