Iwasaki・岩崎・Tamahagane Kamisori
Description
Iwasaki・岩崎・Tamahagane KamisoriRare Vintage Iwasaki Tamahagane Razor, most likely made by Master Shigeoshi Iwasaki or Mizuochi San in the 1960s the Japanese Showa period. We restored it to be shave ready and added a rattan wrapping with black Urushi Lacquer. The Kamisori was used and you can see that on the Omote side where the previous owner was honing pieces a bit away to make the sharpening easier. It comes with a Kamisori box that was slightly altered by the previous owner.
