Alo Jais Noir Carignan 2023Vintage 2023 Size 75cl ABV 13. 5% Tasting Note Forget any notions of quaint, long established family wineries, Guillaume Letang is a driving winemaker (like a flying winemaker but more prone to homesickness.) the Very Old Tom from That Boutique-y Gin Company is impressive and all - it's made with a medley of spirits (some unaged
Nose: nostalgic caramel with candied orange & sponge cake
white pepper
which allow the Cortese grape to ripen to its fullest
Cabernet Franc and even Gamay depending on how it is made
A deliciously bitter twist on the finish maintains the complexity of this fine Spanish white
Enjoy notes of tropical fruit
A heady mix of citrus
Its aromas of white flowers combine with honey and are reminiscent of gingerbread
