N2C FledglingThe Curtiss N2C 2 "Fledgling" was the winner of a 1928 Navy design competition for a new primary training plane. When the N2Cs rolled off the assembly line, they appeared more reminiscent of a World War I aircraft than a new top of the line trainer. Mahogany wood. Wingspan 17 inches, Length 12 inches.
